In the current work we summarize aspects of the life and work of Dr. Abelardo Ramirez Marquez, as a physician as much as an integral revolutionary. We pretend to contribute to his popularization among the new generations of health managers and technicians of the Cuban National Health System, drawing attention to his values and rendering him homage 10 years after his decease.
