Abstract

SOSA PALACIOS, Oramis et al. E-book for Knowledge Management in Scientific Research Conducted in the Medical Sciences Graduate Program. Medisur [online]. 2014, vol.12, n.6, pp. 904-916. ISSN 1727-897X.

The training of students enrolled in the Medical Sciences graduate program (residents) includes research activities such as research projects, the final paper of the specialty, scientific events and scientific publications. Knowledge gaps in residents lead to problems seen in both the poor quality of the research project and the final paper of the specialty and in the lack of autonomy to make decisions, affecting their overall training. An electronic book aimed at residents was created for knowledge management in scientific research. The first version was designed using the Crheasoft 2.0 program. It consists of: presentation, start modules, list of topics and complementary information. It comprises condensed knowledge on: research management, research methodology, statistics, information management, computer science, linguistics and language. This e-book contributes to the execution of research activities and promotes learning independence.

Keywords : knowledge management for health research; electronic publications; textbooks; education, medical, graduate.
