Mental health nursing is responsible for providing efficient, effective and quality care according to contemporary dynamics. One of the emerging dimensions in the clinical and research field focuses on knowing how to establish the links between ethics and nursing care in the care of patients with mental health disorders, based on the dignity and humanization of the intervention; as well as going through the stages of assessment, diagnosis, planning, execution and evaluation based on the ethical principles of charity, autonomy, justice and responsibility.
