A Observational study of cross section was made descriptive, with the objective of establishing Blood Pressure performance and distribution in groups of persons over 60 years old who live in Monsignor Briceño, Cardenas Municipality, Táchira State, Venezuela. The period from January 2006 to February 2007. The object of study was designed to investigate 152 persons. The descriptive variables were given in percents. Variable medium of normal blood pressure and pre High Blood Pressure were established by age and sex. The results of this study show a 29.61% with Pre-High Blood  Pressure and 58.85% with High Blood Pressure phase 1, dominated with an 36.4%. The female sex dominated with the group consisting of person between  seventy and seventy four years of age, person with white skin and Arterial High Blood Pressure.
