Abstract

In order to know the opinion of the first grade representatives before the implementation of distance strategies at Escuela Básica “Veinticuatro de Julio”, Santa Elena, Ecuador due to the COVID-19, a non-experimental, descriptive and exploratory study was developed, applying a Likert type questionnaire sent via email and smartphone applications. It was obtained that the representatives consider that distance education is not the best strategy because students are not adequately learning although they have complied with homework, there are also economic limitations to access technological resources.
