Abstract

GONZALEZ-BELLO, Segifredo Luis; DOMINGUEZ-GOMEZ, Carlos Grisel  and  CAMPOS-MOVILLA, Silvia. Moodle activities and resources to teach Physics in the training of civil engineers. Luz [online]. 2022, vol.21, n.1, pp. 93-106.  Epub Mar 15, 2022. ISSN 1814-151X.

Scientific results have been reported on the use of the Moodle platform in higher education, but it is manifested, as a problem to be solved, the insufficient development of it as a didactic resource to teach physics in engineering majors. The aim of the work is proposing activities and resources for the subject Physical III for Civil Engineering (third year of the extension course) at the University of Holguin, and assess its impact on the students’ learning, in the first period of the school year 2021. An exploratory and descriptive study was carried out with the use of theoretical and empirical methods and comparative analysis. The population was 21 students and the sample 12 (57,14%). The results highlight the activities and resources more used, and the behavior of the students learning. The statistical processing showed a positive correlation between the student learning and use of the Moodle platform.
