The present article results from the studies carried out by the authors in order to prevent suicidal attempts by eight-grade teenagers of the junior high school “Alberto Sosa González”. It offers a methodological strategy to promote the training of the teaching staff so that they may successfully conduct the teaching-learning process. Among the methods used were: documentary review, analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction and historical-logical approach, which allowed arriving at generalizing conclusions referred to the use of the strategy within the pedagogical process of the junior high school. The results led to promote the link between school and family, and propitiated the establishment of a fluent communication.
