Abstract

SANCHEZ, Lorena Marina  and  CACOPARDO, Fernando. Preservation of modest heritage Sociomaterials investigations in the city of Tandil, Argentina. Arquitectura y Urbanismo [online]. 2013, vol.34, n.3, pp. 5-18. ISSN 1815-5898.

The valuation of houses that form a part of everyday landscape of the cities, constitutes an important step forward in the patrimonial development. By means of a historical urban-architectural and social boarding in an intermediate city of the province of Buenos Aires in Argentina, Tandil, strategies for the sustainable preservation of its most relevant modest patrimony are explored. From a conception of the nature of research primarily qualitative, it is exposed a methodological process that understands the crossing reports in situ with the analysis of mappings, bibliography and photographies, along with interviews and public-opinion polls focused on awareness-raising conciousness of the users. In this way, it is presented a development methodological, theoretical and of transferency, feasible of being adapted to other contexts and household goods.

Keywords : modest heritage; housing; preservation; society.
