Abstract

This article shows the simulation of absorption solar refrigeration system as an alternative for the air conditioning of buildings in hot and humidity climate. This simulation was carried out usingthe programTRNSYS 17; this software is very used by the research for the study of differenttechnologies. The simulated system have 120 m² of vacuum tube collectors solar, a tank of storage of hot water of 3,2 m³, and anabsorption machine of Bromide of Lithium and Water of 35,2 kW. The results obtained shows that the simulated system gives the cooling demand for 8 months. The solar system simulated give a solar annual fraction of 60 % and the annual average COP of absorption machine take a valor according for the others similar systems report in the State of Art
