Abstract

FILGUEIRAS SAINZ DE ROZAS, Miriam Lourdes et al. The Probabilistic Safety Analysis to the complex technical systems reliability evaluation. Energética [online]. 2019, vol.40, n.3, pp. 203-211.  Epub Sep 18, 2019. ISSN 1815-5901.

Actually, with the technological development achieved, the technical systems are increasingly sophisticated and complex. Therefore, the reliability, availability and maintainability of these systems are essential tools to ensure the comfort of everyday life, which is totally dependent on these systems. The objective of this paper is to expose the application of the Probabilistic Safety Analysis, using the CSolv teaching software, in two complex technical systems, as case studies: a STEMAC generator and a transmission subsystem of the electrical system, located in the western region of the country, as an approach to the evaluation of reliability in complex technological systems. As the main result, the minimum sets of failure of the generator set, and of the transmission subsystem were obtained. In the first case, a program for improvement the maintenance management is proposed, demonstrating its importance in the reliability of these systems.
