JIMENEZ RAMOS, Antonio; GOMEZ SARDUY, Julio Rafael; PUERTA FERNANDEZ, Juan Francisco and JIMENEZ SANTANA, Yulier. Design of virtual experiment for cooling plastic pipes of polyvinyl chloride. Energética [online]. 2019, vol.40, n.3, pp. 257-263. Epub Sep 18, 2019. ISSN 1815-5901.
Experimentation is a method that contributes to corroborate results obtained in the different processes that are developed in the industry, for this case the objective of the statistical analysis is to find the existing mathematical relationship between the minimum time required for cooling in the process of extrusion of plastic pipes, until achieving a desired temperature according to the different properties of the selected raw material that influence it. The model obtained is the main result that will allow more easily estimate that time. The design of virtual experiment, takes as values to consider the data obtained and published in previous editions. The advantage of the work is that You can actively manipulate the system under study to generate few data that offer high quality information without needing to experience everything, achieving parameters that fit the needs of productio and consumption rates.
Keywords : Experiment design virtual; plastic extrusion; pipe cooling; consumption rates; and polyvinyl chloride.
