Abstract

The objective of this work is to propose the free educational application on operational amplifier (OpEdu), in its version 0.5, based on the free software Scilab, which allow the analysis, experimentation, demonstration and design of the functions of operational amplifiers. Among the results obtained are the development of seven design modules such as the inverting amplifier, non-inverting amplifier, differential amplifier, summing amplifier and voltage-current converter. The application is aimed at teaching engineering, specifically operational amplifiers, among its practical uses are that students are able to independently carry out their own experiments and designs in a safe environment and contribute to the national development of free computer applications. This type of software is generally licensed privately, with a high acquisition cost, so that its peers, in free license, allows a greater reach among students and specialists for purposes.
