Abstract

SANTOS BETANCOURT, Alejandro; BISTEL ESQUIVEL, Roberto A.  and  MORA MACIAS, Emanuel C.. Design and analysis of three ECG acquisition channel for Neuroethology applications. EAC [online]. 2016, vol.37, n.1, pp. 47-65. ISSN 1815-5928.

The present paper emerges from the research conducted between the Microelectronics Research Center (CIME) and the Faculty of Biology of Universidad de la Habana in order to studying the behavior of small mammals. The design and analysis of three ECG acquisition channels is made, which are going to be used in applications of Neuroethology. These measurement channels belong to the higher system that manages to record, store and process the signal in real time. The theoretical computations are compared with the results of simulations using PROTEUS ProSPICE 7.10 SP0; showing the advantages and disadvantages between each topology.

Keywords : Acquisition channel; ECG; Neuroethology; ProSPICE.
