Abstract
MURILLO OVIEDO, Jorge P.; HERRERA FERNANDEZ, Francisco B. and LEON VILTRE, Lesyani T.. Modeling and identification in a DFIG-WECS in the presence of saturation. EAC [online]. 2019, vol.40, n.2, pp. 76-85. ISSN 1815-5928.
The article presents the modeling of a wind energy conversion system based on a Double Feed Induction Generator in the presence of saturation in the machine, affecting the dynamic behavior. From a basic model of this type of process, the modeling of the effect of saturation is developed based on the equations that imply mutual inductance, as the main variable to indicate the presence of saturation. The variables considered in the system were rotor speed, power and voltage and currents in stator and rotor. It is demonstrated the real possibility of using the developed model to obtain the behavior of the main variables when the operating point moves from the zone of constant mutual inductance to the region where it is varying because of saturation. The results of simulation of the general model are shown, demonstrating their effectiveness in special operating conditions when magnetic saturation occurs in the generator.
