Abstract

CABRERA TEJERA, Alvis; MILANES HERMOSILLA, Daily; GILART GONZALEZ, Fidel  and  VAZQUEZ SOMOZA, Roberto. Design and development of an experimental installation for magnetic characterizations. EAC [online]. 2020, vol.41, n.1, pp. 60-72.  Epub Mar 09, 2020. ISSN 1815-5928.

The objective of this paper is to design and implement an automated robotic installation to perform measurements of magnetic induction and data processing. To achieve this goal, an automated prototype carrying the Hall effect probe is designed and constructed. A software is developed for the control and processing of the data obtained in the measurements made that allows statistical calculations and data mapping. The magnetic induction on the surface of the conditioner that provides the possibility of evaluating the characteristics of the same. With this work you can achieve quality in terms of efficiency and precision when taking measurements to perform the magnetic characterizations in the Magnetic Characterization Laboratory of the CNEA, the only laboratory of this type in the country that is close to being accredited. To achieve greater precision in the acquisition of measurements by providing a reliability laboratory at the level of other laboratories in the world, since it will now have calibrated equipment, automatic measurements and experts in these subjects.
