Abstract

In the current moments, the companies cannot compete for if alone, but rather they should be integrated with other actors to stay in the market in a competitive way. Due to this change in the business a strategy is needed that potency this managerial interrelation. The present work approaches the relevance of a strategy of collaborative planning for the achievement of the integration in supply chains.  For it, it is appealed to theoretical exhibition of the types of strategies that exist in the literature, and this way to demonstrate the absence of a tool that facilitates the selection of the strategy and the objectives in function of the collaboration among actors. Through a case of application in alimentary two chains is evidenced the practical utility and the relevancy of this thematic one. The first case of study is developed in the context of Cuba and the second case of Mexico, each one with its particularities. You concludes that the instrument for the selection of the types of strategies is adapted to different contexts of supply chains.
