The current applications of information technology (IT) in Cuban organizations are characterized by increasingly complexity and influence in operational and executive decision-making. In the case of companies, this can be seen in the systems for enterprise resource planning, systems for managing the supply chain, and systems for managing customer relationships. For the same reason, it is required for the staff that uses IT to own the highest abilities and proficiencies. IT investments are often costly for organizations, so identifying actions that support employees training to make them easy to accept and use the IT will make possible for managers to decide the best implementation strategies of IT in their organizations. The objectives of this work are: (i) based on a survey, conducting an empirical and statistical analysis on the factors that influence and affect the proper acceptance and adoption of IT by employees in Cuban organizations. (ii) Proposing and discussing possible involvementactions by managers of organizations and IT providers, which enable better and more efficient adoption and use of these technologies.
