Abstract

MIJARES NUNEZ, Luis  and  ZUBIZARRETA BELTRAN, Osbel. Feedback on teaching writing in English: A professional development project. Rev. Mendive [online]. 2016, vol.14, n.2, pp. 150-157. ISSN 1815-7696.

Writing in English is the skill with the lowest grade of development within the discipline Integrated English Practice. Professors of this discipline do not use a unique system of symbols to correct indirectly the errors of their students, and do not have either the knowledge or skills necessary to provide an effective feedback. Acontinuing professional development project generated interest and collaborative effort from the professors of the discipline, who perfected their skills of error correction, their capacity to offer effective feedback, and their abilities to promote a process of self-development in their students, with their post feedback remedial sessions.
