CAMBUANDA, Manuel Manuel; RIANO VALLE, Félix  and  DE LA RUA BATISTAPAU, Manuel de Jesús. Model for the self-evaluation of the quality of the process of training professionals. Rev. Mendive [online]. 2017, vol.15, n.4, pp. 492-506. ISSN 1815-7696.

Introduction:  fundamental aspects related to the evaluation of the quality of university education in Angola, its background and current situation. Reflections were made on the theoretical aspects of the design of the models for self-evaluation to solve as problematic the quality of teaching in the process of vocational training. Objective: was to elaborate a model for the self-evaluation of the quality of the professional training process. Materials and methods: used to elaborate the model were: Theoretical methods: The historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, systemic approach, modeling. Empirical methods: documentary analysis, interview, and expert survey; Participatory Action Research (IAP). Mathematical methods: descriptive statistics, Delphi Method, the Model of the statistical test and Kendall's Concordance Coefficient, the percentage analysis. Research: is carried out in the Faculty of Sciences of the Agustino Neto University. The sample for the study was 334 participants, classified in 91 teachers, 43 non-teachers and 200 students. As main results, a survey of teachers could be used to determine the 5 components of the model through 25 indicators and 89 criteria. Conclusions: it can be emphasized that for the first time an exhaustive study of the factors that must contribute to overcome the deficiencies detected by the previous 4 studies is made. This model is based on the characteristics and needs of Higher Education in Angola. Keywords: Higher Education in Angola; Models; Quality Assurance Systems; Self-evaluation of quality.
