CABRERA GAVILAN, Lázaro; HERRERA CRISTO, Gustavo  and  DIAZ TOCA, Odalys. PHYSICAL-RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON THE REDUCTION OF BLOOD VOLTAGE LEVELS IN HYPERTENSIC WOMEN. Conrado [online]. 2018, vol.14, n.62, pp. 124-133. ISSN 1990-8644.

Arterial hypertension has become one of the leading causes of death in the world, occupying the mortality leadership lately. A causal-experimental investigation was carried out at the People’s Palace Palacio Sur in Los Palacios municipality, with the objective to propose a set of physical-recreational activities to reduce blood pressure levels in hypertensive women of advanced ages. For this, the results of the four instruments used (observation-participation, interview, questionnaire and documentary record) were evaluated, allowing to obtain the necessary information to arrive at conclusions related to the scientific tasks. In the analysis of the problem, it was found that the most affected practitioners oscillate between 60 and 70 years of age, being the most identified causes for their disease lifestyle, alcoholism, obesity, smoking and lack of systematic in practice of physical exercises of these women.

Keywords : Aggressiveness; compensation; recreational physical activities.
