Abstract

LALAMA FRANCO, Amor del Rosario. EDUCATIONAL INCLUSION: CHIMERA OR REALITY?. Conrado [online]. 2018, vol.14, n.62, pp. 134-138. ISSN 1990-8644.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the reality of educational inclusion in our country, a process that for about ten years has been established as a state policy in Ecuador. In it, the new challenges that the teacher has faced up to the present are reported, assuming the methodological didactic tools to work with the inclusion of children with special educational needs, this issue that previously had been in many cases dead letter. However, these tools allow the emergent training of the teacher so that he can provide effective psycho-pedagogical support and make curricular adaptations more than a missing link, a bridge that opens roads of opportunities making educational inclusion more than a chimera, a nascent reality.

Keywords : Educational inclusion; special educational needs; teacher training; curricular adaptations.
