Abstract

The evolution of ICT generated the use of digital devices in the education system, for this reason it was proposed as a general objective to determine the influence of ICT teaching resources in the promotion of road culture for the benefit of the students of the Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí University, Chone Extension. The descriptive, qualitative-quantitative method was used, through a survey of 324 university students, an interview with the Student Welfare Manager of the Faculty of Jurisprudence of the University of Guayaquil and the Mayor of the Traffic Commission of Ecuador. The result was that young people visit social networks with high frequency, which is also used for teaching and learning because of its usefulness as an electronic didactic resource, because through video, images and sound the acquisition of meaningful knowledge is guaranteed. and development of skills, so they can be used for learning road education, which is a weakness for current university students who did not study this area until the baccalaureate, ignoring the meaning of traffic signs, zebra lines, pedestrian crossings, Bus stops, among others. In conclusion, ICT teaching resources influence the promotion of a strengthened road culture.
