Abstract

The study of the training process of the primary teacher in Cuba and how this professional training is conceived led to the realization of this bibliographical review, which is a partial result of the doctoral thesis of one of its authors, and delves into the basic ideas that support psychopedagogical training. Among the most important results are the information provided about the psychopedagogical contents that the primary teacher must master, as well as the elaboration of the psychopedagogical culture construct. In this sense, the study is projected to reflect on psychopedagogical training as a basic idea in the formative process of the primary teacher.
