Abstract

BARRENO SALINAS, Zoila; ASTUDILLO COBOS, Alexandra  and  BARRENO SALINAS, María Mercedes. TOWARDS A COMMUNITY INTERVENTION STRATEGY: THEORETICAL METHODOLOGICAL REFERENCES. Conrado [online]. 2018, vol.14, n.62, pp. 258-265. ISSN 1990-8644.

The most relevant result of this research is the construction of a strategy of intervention in the community, which in the hands of community workers will allow a conscious and orderly action in this regard. It is based on participatory action research as a characteristic method of Community Psychology, which is investigated while intervening in / from a community. In itself it constitutes a system that is structured in four stages with particularities that differentiate them, but that are integrated but that are also conditioning and dependent on each other. Each stage is deployed in a system of actions that are accompanied by methodological details.

Keywords : Community; community intervention; community work; community promoter.
