The Israel Technological University (UISRAEL), based on its Strategic Institutional Development Plan (PEDI), establishes in its strategic objectives the relationship with the substantive and management functions, which constitute a guideline for academic and administrative management. As part of this improvement process, it was proposed to implement an institutional strategic management system based on the automation of processes through the use of ICT. The research demonstrates the relevance of the automation process and implementation of SIGE in UISRAEL, from the results obtained through the application of a software evaluation methodology. It is evident in the university community, optimal levels in terms of satisfaction, benefits, optimization of time, efficiency and reliability of the implemented system.
