Abstract

In the article, it is analyzed the curriculum of the Nursing Degree of the State Technical University of Quevedo (UTEQ). The sample selected for the research is part of the students of the first course of the career, which constituted the fundamental criterion of inclusion. Corresponds to 40 students, men and women, between 19 and 27 years of age, of the Nursing career, of the State Technical University of Quevedo (UTEQ), Ecuador. The epistemological horizons are oriented towards the close relationship among theory, practice and research, a triad that characterizes the interdisciplinary relationship from these three substantive axes of the university process, integrating knowledge, skills and values. In the profession, these horizons integrate the contributions of science, knowledge, skills and values and the research training of students in a systematic way until the culmination of their graduate process.
