ZUMBA VERA, Ingrid Yolanda; BELTRAN BAQUERIZO, Gina Esmeralda and LOPEZ TOBAR, Fanny Raquel. Fire and ashes: Incidence of Burnout Syndrome in teachers of the Technical University of Babahoyo. Conrado [online]. 2019, vol.15, n.69, pp. 304-308. Epub Sep 02, 2019. ISSN 1990-8644.
This is a field research that aims to approach the teaching population of the Technical University of Babahoyo (UTB), to characterize the incidence of Burnout syndrome in this Ecuadorian institution of higher education. The community of professors adds 482 people, being a diverse human group as far as modality of contracting, time of connection to the university, place of origin, basic profession, among others. However, they share something common: their concern for the work environment, which is perceived increasingly marked by the continuous stress, as well as by the social despair that appears in some of the teachers.
