Abstract

A topic related to Environmental Education seems to be sent, however, recent studies on a group of students from the University of Guayaquil demonstrate the need to incorporate these topics into the daily life of education. This idea is based on the work presented in the form of an article, which summarizes the conception of a pedagogical strategy that has been implemented in this university with students of the Basic Education career during a period of six semesters. In this sense and as an articulating axis of the strategy, it has been insisted that students incorporate attitudes and aptitudes related to environmental education in several aspects, although emphasis will be placed on this section, specifically as regards healthy living. The strategy is aligned with the ecological model that is applied in the University and seeks to integrate both teachers and students in topics that interest the entire population. The results, although they could still be insipient, already stand out within the community,close to the main venues in which the students carry out their practices and linking process, which stimulates this work.
