CASIMIRO URCOS, Consuelo Nora; CASIMIRO URCOS, Walther Hernán and CASIMIRO URCOS, Javier Francisco. Development of professional competences in university students. Conrado [online]. 2019, vol.15, n.70, pp. 312-319. Epub Dec 02, 2019. ISSN 1990-8644.
It is understood that professional competences are all those knowledge, skills and aptitudes that an individual must develop during the university training. Hence, the purpose of this research has been to determine that level of development in university students. For this, a descriptive study with trans sectional design was carried out. The sample was 99 students, all of Corporate Law of the Private University TELESUP of Peru, 2018. The survey was used as a technique and a questionnaire as an instrument, which consisted of 24 items, each with the following response alternatives: always, frequently, sometimes and never. The results showed that the level of development of the study variable, in its three dimensions: "Psychological Competences", "Participatory Social Competences" and "Technical Competences", was not very efficient. However, this did not significantly influence to point out that these students presented a moderate level of professional competences.
