The article determines the causes of family violence and its influence with the emotional state in women who attend the Woman Emergency Center, province of Lampa, Peru in 2018. The research used is non-experimental, descriptive type; with a sample of 80 women, with a mostly emotional state (75%) very poor. The use of a guide with 21 items allowed to know the emotional state of women. In the study, it was possible to determine how they mainly influence domestic violence, attitudes of the family environment and alcohol consumption in the emotional state of women. At the same time, how these repercussions will go to the environment in which the family operates, such as the community, and therefore affect society in general.
