Abstract

REINA GARCIA, Luis Eyén; GOMEZ BERNAL, Daisy  and  SAAVEDRA BORROTO, Ismery de los Ángeles. The development of cultural competence in classes of integral practice of the French language. Conrado [online]. 2020, vol.16, n.73, pp. 335-342.  Epub Apr 02, 2020. ISSN 1990-8644.

The formation of cultural competence is one of the most important elements to work on today in foreign language classes. The acquisition of cultural competence should therefore be a didactic objective and be established in the curricula. The foreign language class is possibly the most suitable didactic space for this. This will teach the student to locate and interpret the cultural marks that permeate the texts. This work offers some methodological alternatives to be put into practice by the teachers who teach the program of Integral Practice of the French language.

Keywords : Cultural competence; curriculum; foreign languages; French classes.
