In the teaching and learning process of the mathematics in the school, the knowledge is transmitted to the margin of their historical evolution, of the problems that are in their origin and of the successes and mistakes in their solution. That is to say, a non historical vision prevails in the teaching of this science, that which is considered by the authors of this work as an obstacle for the scientific education of the students. In this work the ideas and the authors' suggestions are exposed the mathematics history can be used in the teaching of this subject in the half school about how.
