The main objective of the research was to establish the relationship between academic Stress and the professional training of students. The present work has been developed under the positivist paradigm framed in the quantitative approach, non-experimental design and the level of the investigation was correlational. The population was made up of 87 students from the X cycle of the Faculty of Technology of the National University of Education "Enrique Guzmán y Valle". The technique used for data collection was the survey and the instruments were the Academic Stress questionnaire (adaptation of the SISCO inventory) and Professional training (adapted by the group of researchers). Given the situation we are living in due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided to do it through a Google Forms questionnaire. The results obtained through statistical tests allow us to show that academic stress is related in a linear way, directly proportional, statistically significant and with a good relationship (rho = 0.710) with the students' professional training.
