Abstract

ESPINOSA BELTRAN, Pedro Luís; PRIETO GALINDO, William Andrés; GOMEZ, Nubia Marcela  and  OCHOA NUNEZ, María del Pilar. Assurance of educational quality in the context of a rule of social law. Conrado [online]. 2020, vol.16, n.77, pp. 209-217.  Epub Dec 02, 2020. ISSN 1990-8644.

This article presents a set of theoretical and conceptual reflections that arise from the development of a doctoral thesis work whose objective was to analyze the role of leadership of teaching managers in the processes of the Quality Management System (QMS) for the achievement and assurance of the quality of the educational service offered by the Luigi Pirandello School (Bogotá DC) and the Campestre Reino Británico Gymnasium (Tenjo) located in the department of Cundinamarca, Colombia. However, the results in relation to the perception of the teaching staff regarding the QMS processes, in addition to the findings of the theoretical foundation of the research, enabled a critical reflection on the importance of achieving and ensuring the quality of education in the context of a Social State of Law, where the educational institution is fundamental for the construction of social justice.

Keywords : Education; quality in education; quality management systems; social rule of law; social justice; educational institution.
