Abstract

MORALES, Jesús. The academic reading law: a necessary practice in the relevant training of the lawyer. Conrado [online]. 2021, vol.17, n.78, pp. 68-79.  Epub Feb 02, 2021. ISSN 1990-8644.

The training of critical citizens has now positioned itself as a competence of university. This has been due fundamentally to the fact that this scenario represents the place par excellence in which free thought and the use of criticality are promoted as necessary intellectual abilities to face manipulations, objecting positions and fighting against ideological impositions. From the usual difficulties the first year law students find when they read legal texts, we search to describe and compare the strategies of reading that characterized experts, to have in future tools for teaching in a more effective way. It is in this sense this article we present here the main aspects of the reflection concerning reading in science class which helped to bring about changes in our teaching practice and propose strategies for achieving critical reading at the university level.
