The objective of this research is to carry out a legal analysis on the ethical formation of the law professor and its incidence in university teaching, since it evidences insufficiencies in his formative process in relation to professional ethics. The methodology used was qualitative, with descriptive scope, using methods of synthesis analysis, document analysis and the techniques of interview and observation of activities carried out by the law professor. The most significant results are in guaranteeing a professional who distinguishes himself in university teaching, with an image that highlights his performance in the professional practice with responsibility and ethical preparation, so that they can reach higher levels of social relevance in a new context of social change.
