CRUZ GARCIA, Darwin Alexis  and  ARDMIROLA MENDOZA, Catherine. Peace practices, pedagogy for conflict resolution in rural youth. Conrado [online]. 2022, vol.18, n.85, pp. 316-325.  Epub Apr 02, 2022. ISSN 1990-8644.

This article presents a description of the peace practices used by rural youth to deal with conflicts, developed under a critical social approach, the result of a multimodal investigation based on a qualitative approach with a case study modality. The sample was made up of 18 young people from rural areas and 12 public officials from the municipality of Soacha, where the information from 18 surveys, 4 semi-structured interviews, 6 observation guides and 1 focus group were ordered and classified. The results indicate that only 45% of young people promote a practice of peace based on respect for the other, where the family and educational institutions are the recognized spaces for the construction of a culture of peace. Peace practices implemented by young people in rural areas are based on respect and tolerance and influence the dynamics of the territory.
