Abstract

The work presented responds to the need to promote psychomotor development in children with special educational needs SEN with DS. The objective is to model activities or techniques based on inclusion, for the stimulation of the development of gross and fine motor skills in children with DS. The diversity of activities or techniques facilitated their attention, in order to offer them different levels of help and interact directly with them, from observing what they can do on their own, what help they need, adapting the demands and stimulating their possibilities in the psychomotor sphere. The proposal allowed to expand their communication, acquire and operate in the field of knowledge, increase the effects of intellectual stimulation, cognitive and affective-volitional processes, their physical and mental development and the improvement of their quality of life, in addition it made possible the correction and compensation of the motor sphere of the same, it is corroborated in practice that they have reached a qualitatively higher level, which has led them to achieve an improvement in the movements of their gross and fine motor skills, corroborated in their psychomotor development.
