This article makes reference to the elaboration of a Manual of Good Environmental Practices on the use of the Soil in the Experimental Farm la "Represa" of the State Technical University of Quevedo (UTEQ), located in the Fayta sector, with the purpose of Raise awareness among the residents so that at the time of carrying out their crops, constructions and forestry they have the adequate knowledge to avoid soil degradation, this project includes definitions, characteristics and illustrations that reflect the degree of knowledge that the residents have about the correct use that should be given to the soil, it is also focused on educating the inhabitants on environmental aspects, so that they change the methods they used and use activities that help mitigate the impacts of their daily activities, executing the norms established in the manual, In this way, learn to conserve one of the vital resources such as the soil.
