For the training of teachers of early childhood education at the upper secondary level, the presence in the curriculum of knowledge of the biological foundations of education is important. For this, it is necessary to plan an effective teaching-learning process (PEA) that facilitates the acquisition of these by teachers in training. This research aims to characterize the current state of the PEA of the biological foundations of education necessary for the training of teachers of Early Childhood Education at the upper secondary level. To this end, theoretical methods and instruments such as analytical-synthetic, documentary analysis, empirical such as consulting specialists and mathematicians such as percentage analysis were used. As an investigative result, a characterization of the initial state of the PEA of the biological foundations of education for the training of the early childhood education teacher of the upper secondary level described in the main potentialities and weaknesses of the process was obtained. The ability to protect one's own health and that of others is a quality that must be developed at all levels of teacher training. For this, a PEA must be guaranteed in accordance with the complexity of the subject and the need for teachers to raise their level. scientific and lead the pedagogical process with a preventive, scientific and stimulating character of development.
