Abstract

CEDENO MANTONG, Karla Roxana; BENAVIDES SALAZAR, Cristian Fernando; BENAVIDES SALAZAR, Julio Cesar  and  LLERENA SANMARTIN, Sheyla Alexandra. Evaluation of a case study for teaching compliance with protocols in Notarial Acts. Conrado [online]. 2023, vol.19, n.94, pp. 145-153.  Epub Oct 10, 2023. ISSN 1990-8644.

The present study allowed us to evaluate the suitability of a case study for teaching compliance with protocols in notarial acts within the field of law in an academic environment. For this, quantitative data was collected through questionnaires to measure the level of academic integration and student satisfaction. The method of bibliographic review and analysis of real cases was used to develop a case study, which guaranteed the theoretical foundation and relevance of the selected case. The students who worked with the case study showed greater academic integration, better content association, and a higher level of satisfaction with the classes received compared to the control group that carried out the self-study. The conclusions highlight that the case study allowed greater active participation, the application of theoretical knowledge in practical situations and generated greater satisfaction with the classes. These results support the relevance and superiority of the case study in law education compared to self-study. Based on the results obtained, a plan of strategic activities was proposed to promote the use of case studies in the field of law teaching.
