Abstract

DOMINGUEZ CASTELLANOS, Eula Eduviges  and  DIBUT TOLEDO, Lázaro Salomón. Good virtual education practices to be implemented in the context of a pandemic and post-pandemic. Conrado [online]. 2023, vol.19, n.95, pp. 36-50.  Epub Dec 10, 2023. ISSN 1990-8644.

As the first result and purpose of the study, it is to elaborate a diagnosis that identifies good practices of virtual education that leads to a posterior result of elaborating a manual for the Department of Economic Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Honduras of the Technological Center of Danlí (UNAH- TEC-DANLI ), which facilitates the implementation of virtual education in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and post-pandemic, a study that was approached from a mixed approach with analysis of qualitative data oriented on limitations, benefits and opinion of students and teachers on the compulsory virtual education, complemented by a quantitative and comparative analysis of official UNAH statistics, on indicators of approval, failure, abandonment and academic index of the year 2019 of a face-to-face education and years 2020 and 2021 of a virtual education. Data collection was carried out through a survey with a reliability of 0.862 (Cronbach's Alpha test); rejecting the null hypothesis and accepting the alternative that indicates "limitations of compulsory virtual education in UNAH-TEC-DANLI, favors identifying good practices for the Department of Economic Sciences that leads to the development of a manual that facilitates virtual education in the context of the pandemic and post-pandemic of COVID-19”.
