The current educational environment is characterized by the diversity of information formats, and the ability to listen effectively is revealed to be essential for academic success. This study focuses on evaluating the impact of the audiobook methodology on the improvement of listening skills in higher education students. The research is supported by recognized academic sources, and is based on quantitative and qualitative approaches. A detailed analysis of the results obtained through standardized tests, surveys and the application of the audiobook methodology was carried out. The results reveal notable improvements in the listening skills of students who participated in the audiobook methodology. The careful and progressive application of the experiment evidences a positive impact on the development of audio listening, highlighting the importance of practical and continuous approaches in educational environments.
