The training of legal professionals in the general aspects that are part of their subsequent performance constitutes an essential element within the educational teaching process of the career. In this sense, one of the topics to be analyzed is the care of pregnant women and their right to alimony in processes of increasing alimony. Although it is true that the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador and the Code of Children and Adolescents provide that they recognize the right of pregnant women to receive support from the beginning of their pregnancy to breastfeeding, professionals practicing law recognize this fact. as a problem in the country and it is identified that the issue requires greater analysis and depth in the preparation that law students receive during their professional training.
