This study was carried out with the objective of assessing the knowledge and social skills acquired by students with the application of playful strategies. A correlational study with a longitudinal panel design (pre-test and post-test) was carried out in the “Eugenio Espejo” educational unit of Babahoyo, during the year 2023, based on the diagnosis of the current state of the social skills of 23 students. with deficiencies in these. Descriptive methods were used for the initial diagnosis. In addition, the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test was carried out for related samples, which made it possible to analyze the behavior of the scores before and after the playful strategies were applied. It was concluded that these strategies strengthen the development of social skills of the students under study, stimulating concentration, creativity, communicative development and generation of knowledge.
