Abstract
MATEO ALCANTARA, Wilson and PEREZ GONZALEZ, Olga Lidia. Conceptual training and digital technologies in Differential Calculus for Engineering. Varona [online]. 2024, n.79 Epub Jan 12, 2024. ISSN 1992-8238.
The increasing technological development of society demands the necessary preparation of engineering students with a solid scientific background, however, research reports that there are difficulties in the learning of Differential Calculus that limit the performance of students in solving mathematical problems in the engineering context. A literature review study was conducted with the aim of analyze current research that addresses conceptual formation and the use of digital technologies in Differential Calculus for engineering. It is a qualitative research of documentary bibliographic type; information triangulation and socialization workshops were used as consensus technique. The results of the study identified 14 research from six countries. It is concluded that the inadequacies are associated with the use of digital technologies as tools for communication, management, and planning of the teaching-learning process, and with the little use of digital conjectures to generate variational arguments in the engineering context, to value the mathematical infinity, the tendential behavior of functions, the transfer of semiotic registers of mathematical concepts, the work with their properties and the use of mathematical language.
Keywords : engineering context; mathematical concepts; digital transfers; mathematical conjectures.
