The need of interpret and signify the dialogue in a didactic-propositive sense, recognizing the otherness and diversity of existing paradigms in the new information and technology society, is an imperative today. Consequently, this research aims to carry out a critical review of the contributions on dialogic narrative of otherness and the scope of Information and Communications Technologies for the understanding of the other. This is a critical-descriptive study that uses as a methodology the critical review of the bibliography consulted, to reach conclusions about the main theorical cores of the research and their integration for the improvement of the teaching-learning of Spanish as a foreign language and second. Among the main results are the conception of dialogue as an essential resource for the understanding of otherness as and ethical-psychological act in which the different voices and values that make possible the constitution of the meaning of the text are found; the valuation of understanding assumed as elucidation and respect for the enrichment of the dialoguers. Communicative performance in the word and the knowledge expressed through the language teaching-learning process is recognized.
