OCHOA PAUMIER, Daisy; SANTODOMINGO DIAZ, Sulay  and  PAVIE GARRIDO, Yusmi. The preparation of teachers to guide families in their educational role. Varona [online]. 2024, n.79  Epub Jan 13, 2024. ISSN 1992-8238.

The actions of the Early Childhood educational institution must be aimed at contributing to the comprehensive development of the child; therefore, the preparation of preschool educators is a necessity, if it is about promoting family orientation. In this regard, the results are not always as expected. Hence, this article declares the objective: to socialize an experience in the design of methodological activities to contribute to the improvement of the guidance work of preschool teachers to the families of the boys and girls of the Vedado council. It starts from verifying regularities in the domain of the content of the governing documents and the methodological structure of the joint activity, the correspondence between: characterization-activities-strategy of work with the family; little control; lack of creativity in the demonstration; deficiencies in the application of alternatives for family counseling; as well as lack of systematic control by the directors of the children's institution in this work. For the diagnosis of teacher preparation, research methods at the theoretical, empirical and mathematical levels were used. The proposal contains methodological activities that include the forms of methodological work, the application of which demonstrated its effectiveness.
