Abstract

JIMENEZ HERRERA, Luis Guillermo. Artificial intelligence as a power of health tool. Infodir [online]. 2021, n.36  Epub Apr 04, 2022. ISSN 1996-3521.

Introduction:

Artificial intelligence can be a novel, useful and practical technological tool that transforms the way health care is carried out in search of achieving better health results.

Objective:

To encourage the practical application of artificial intelligence as a potential health tool through the construction of new knowledge.

Development:

A documentary research was carried out when selecting documents from databases with the help of keywords. The selected bibliography was reviewed, the content was compared, analyzed and interpreted. The findings showed that artificial intelligence contemplates various forms of machine learning through a range of applications and media (algorithms, computers, devices, robots, the Internet) that would facilitate changes in the way health care is carried out. The human resource that works in health requires resources, academic preparation, training to use and face the various prevailing challenges with the intention of maximizing the use of artificial intelligence; in solving problems and implementing improvements in conjunction with other social actors so that it becomes a resource that allows improvements in health.

Conclusions:

Artificial intelligence could generate more and more changes in health through an innovative, modern, dynamic, human and personalized care due to the facilities and mechanisms that communication, information, information and computing technologies allow. It is necessary to properly manage the various challenges to achieve better health benefits.

Keywords : technology; artificial intelligence; machine learning; computing; Health.
