Abstract
CATA TELLEZ, Wilfredo; SANCHEZ MOREIRA, Sayly and ELERS MASTRAPA, Yenny. Nursing students' perceptions on the communication of the teaching process through technologies. Infodir [online]. 2022, n.37 Epub Apr 04, 2022. ISSN 1996-3521.
Introduction:
Students' perceptions about the communication of the teaching process through Information and Communication Technologies imply their future adequacy and presentation.
Objective:
To describe the perception of nursing students regarding the communication of the teaching process through technologies.
Methods:
A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted in the period December 2019-March 2020. A questionnaire was designed, validated and applied to 75 nursing students. The following variables were explored: information about the teaching process, permanence of the information to be consulted, preference in the way to know the information and preference in the information to be received with the use of technologies.
Results:
Regarding the communication of the teaching process, the students' perception was 2.7% through the mural, 4.0% through the guiding teacher, 18.7% through e-mail, 26.7% through the teacher and 48.0% through the web page. A predominance of getting information through technologies was highlighted in their preferences.
Conclusions:
The students' perception shows a positive valuation of being informed through technologies, despite not receiving the information of the teaching process by this way.
